Francisco Reis -Tenor
The Portuguese singer was born in Arrifana, Santa Maria da Feira.
At the age of 16 he entered the Music Academy in the town of S. João da Madeira where he graduated in Music Education, Composition and level 7 of saxophone after he went to the University of Aveiro to complete his education
He was also work has solist with the Choir of the University of Aveiro, the Oporto Orchestra and the Oporto Septet.
He participated in several theatre festivals, like the European Cultural Centre in Delphi in Greece, the Nant Festiva l in France, “Yes for Europe” in Bologna, Italy and Lisbon, “Cumplicidades” Project in Brazil, the Opera Club in Macau, the Portuguese Association of Luxembourg, the Opera Festival of Oporto and Seville, Concerts at the Oporto and Lisbon Coliseums and “Multiusos” Pavilion in Lisbon.
In 2004 completed the course in Vocal Technique and Repertory with high marks.
Interpreted the Christmas Oratorio by Camille Saint Saens.
Represented Turidu of the Opera Cavallaria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni and Canio of the Opera Pagliacci by Ruggero Leoncavallo
Until 2005 he was a musician and singer at RTP television program “Portugal no Coração” participating in cultural events in New York, New Jersey and in Paris where he performed in the Council Grand Hall of Paris.
For the last seven years he has been a musician and singer in the RTP program “Praça da Alegria”He participated in Master of Opera singing with mezzo-soprano Ambra Vespasiani, il baritone Ettore Nova, Enza Ferrari and the Tenor Daniel Muñoz.
He has collaborated with conductors Ferreira Lobo and Antonio Saiote.
He has collaborated with the North Orchestra and the Oporto National Orquestra
At present he keeps his studies in Italy with Italian tenor Vincenzo Mano.
